VIDEO GAMES!

Remember that any street or family wishing to participate in this year’s parade may do so! You do not have to create a float or have a lot of people to enter the parade. 

Here are a few ideas it would be fun to see:
-bike brigade
-tots on wheels
-best dressed dog
-decorated wagons and strollers

Think outside the box and come up with an entry and join the parade fun!

Join Montevideo’s 2022 4th of July Parade

Why just watch the annual Montevideo 4th of July Parade, when you can be in it!

The theme this year will be National Parks. We are accepting entries to be in the parade whether your street is building a park themed float, you are just getting some neighborhood children to ride their bikes, or you are just going to drive your flashy car. We’d love to have you or your organization celebrate with us, so sign up today!

Entrants will be given details how and when to line up. The parade kicks off at 11am on Monteval Ln and weaves through the neighborhood and usually lasts about an hour.

The deadline to register for the annual Nick Olson 4 on the 4th Race is coming up fast. If you would like to run be sure to register by noon on July 2, 2022. It’s super easy to register online this year.

VIsit the registration page and enter all the entrants’ details.

Pay online by visiting the MIA Shop and add the number of registrations to your cart, checkout, and we will send you a payment link within 24 hours.

Of course you can still pay by cash or check by dropping it off at 6149 Monteverde.

4th of July BBQ & Picnic

4th of July is right around the corner and it’s time to place your food order from the grill. We are only accepting pre-orders for food so we don’t buy too much or buy too little.

Food orders must be placed and paid for by June 27th.

You can order by visiting the shop, adding your order and checking out. If you choose to pay online, we will send you a payment link within 24 hours. If you choose to pay by cash or check, you can drop your payment off at 6149 Monteverde Dr.

All the combos come with chips and a drink.

  • HOT DOG “COMBO MEAL” $5 
  • HAMBURGER “COMBO MEAL” $6 
  • CHEESEBURGER “COMBO MEAL” $7 
  • VEGGIE BURGER “COMBO MEAL” $7 
  • TRI-TIP SANDWICH “COMBO MEAL” $8

Also, we are in need of servers to help expedite the food and check orders. If you are able to volunteer for an hour, we’d love to have you. Sign up here.

We would love your help with the 4th of July events! We are still looking for volunteers for the Nick Olsen 4 on the 4th Run, the Parade and Picnic, including setup and clean up. Sign-up here!

  • Race Helpers – July 4 – 7:30AM-9:30AM
  • BBQ Servers – July 4 – 12 Noon – 1PM
  • BBQ Servers – July 4 – 1PM to 2PM
  • Clean up – July 4 – 2PM -3PM

Fourth of July 2021

Thanks to everyone for their support of our Montevideo Fourth festivities. Thanks to all those who volunteered and helped make the day great. Thanks to all of our amazing race and parade participants.

We are excited for the events on the Fourth of July!

Here’s the schedule for the day:

8:00 am – Four on the Fourth Run bib pick-up in pool parking lot

8:30 am – Four on the Fourth Run begins

10:30 am – Floats arrive on Monteval Lane  

11:00 am – Introductions and Parade starts

11:30 am – Volunteers for BBQ report to clubhouse to begin cooking

(We need more volunteers! Sign up HERE.)

12:00 pm – Pool opens

12:00 pm – 2:00 pm – BBQ service for those who purchased food 

1:00 pm – Race/Float winners announced (this will also be listed on website)

5:00 pm – Pool closes

BBQ AT THE CLUBHOUSE & POOL

NO DAY-OF ORDERS. BBQ order & payment is due by June 27. To order, fill out the form at this link and pay via PayPal as directed on the form OR drop off payment to 1515 Montellano Dr.

The pool will be open from noon until 5:00 on the Fourth of July.
