Neighborhood Parade
Parade start time 11:00am
The Montevideo neighborhood started a local parade in 1968 and every year streets in the neighborhood construct floats based on a theme. Floats compete for a prestigious paper certificate for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Come out and cheer on your neighbors and friends! The parade starts at 11:00 am from the Montevideo clubhouse. Clubhouse BBQ & Picnic
Join us at 12:00pm in the clubhouse for a neighborhood BBQ (open to MIA members & guests only). Burgers, hotdogs, chips, and soda are sold online for pre-order. Dessert and healthy snacks are sold by the Montevideo Piranhas swim team. Winners of the parade float competition are announced as soon as the results are in. The pool will be closed due to the remodel. The lawn will be open for fun and games.
