Hello, neighbors!

After working as Montevideo’s pool and clubhouse manager for over 20 years, Peggy Samson is resigning. A huge thank you to Peggy for all the hours of hard work she has put in keeping our pool running and our clubhouse rentals going strong.

At this time the MIA board is looking to hire a new pool and clubhouse manager. This is a paid position. The job includes hiring and managing lifeguards for the pool, overseeing clubhouse rentals, managing the gardener, pool service, and cleaning service. As well as troubleshooting any issues that arise with the property.

We also have an opening or two coming to the board in the coming months. 

And we’d love to have more people join us on committees. We currently have a Facilities Committee that is working on plans to update and improve the pool-house and clubhouse as well as replacing the fence. We would love to start up a Social Committee to oversee activities to get our neighbors gathering in a social capacity. And if there are other ideas from members who would like to start other committees, we’d love suggestions.
